Students take a deeper look at the G.L.I.M.P.S.E. Conference

GLIMPSE, which stands for Gathering, Listening, Igniting, Mending, Persevering, Surviving, and Empowering, is a two-day student-centered conference that brings together hundreds of students from colleges and universities in Kentucky, Tennessee, and surrounding states, and provides them the opportunity to leverage their experiences as students of color on today’s college campuses, and the larger community. Conference programming focuses on empowering students by having open dialogues on issues faced by today’s students of color. Discussions are aim at preparing students to take on active leadership roles on our campuses, cultivating student organizations that provide a positive environment and enhance the overall campus experience for students of color. In addition, the conference will provide entertainment, team building and networking opportunities.
